AVAILABLE FOR WEEKLY RENTALS AND SEASONAL NIGHTLY RENTALS

The Seaward, formerly the Seaward Inn, is a Rockport MA rental property nestled on the outer edge of Cape Ann Massachusetts.

The Seaward has taken many shapes and forms over the past 65 years while remaining in the Cameron family. Although the main building and restaurant were sold in December 2013, the remaining buildings are now cottages and apartments available for weekly rentals including Spruce Cottage, Gully Point, Loblolly Cove, and Lover's Cove.

Our ocean view Rockport weekly rentals are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall and offer great amenities. You can also find us on VRBO.com and Airbnb.com, two very popular websites where you can find vacation homes, rentals, and cottages in Rockport, Gloucester, and the entire north shore of Boston.

The Seaward is located on Marmion Way, known for its lovely homes, gardens and ocean views. Here you can relax to the soothing ocean sounds, distant fog horn, and seagulls while watching the lobster boats pass by. We are a short mile to downtown Rockport MA which can also be accessed along an ocean path. Along the way you will pass Old Garden Beach; a good spot for a dip, and the "headlands" for an outstanding view of Rockport Harbor.

While enjoying your vacation home away from home, take your car or borrow one of our beach cruiser bikes and explore the art galleries, shops and restaurants of downtown Rockport. Dogtown, considered a ghost town, is a large wooded area between Rockport and Gloucester. Most suitable for the adventurous, it affords rich recreation opportunities to hikers and mountain bikers, dog-walkers, nature lovers, geologists and historians.

Halibut Point State Park and the Atlantic Path are two other treasures which will delight the outdoor enthusiast. Whether you prefer the rocky coastlines, a quiet beach, reading a good book, artistic endeavors, biking, birding, kayaking, oceanfront dining, theater or music at the renowned Shalin Liu Performance Center. Cape Ann has it all...and more!

Relax by the Ocean

Everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Comfortable living area, small but functional kitchen area, large bedroom with a king bed, and s small bathroom. Great view of the ocean from the windows or the small, private garden. This is just a great place to relax and unwind. The owner, Nancy, is very friendly and available to answer any questions or resolve any problems. We would definitely stay again if we return to Rockport.

A Rockport Gem

This adorable apartment is perfect for an ocean getaway. The apartment was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and many amenities. You can't beat the gorgeous ocean view from the front room. The apartment is an easy walk or short car ride to Rockport, a quintessential New England oceanside town. There are also many beautiful beaches in Rockport and its neighboring town of Gloucester. Nancy was a wonderful and accommodating host. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Lovers Cove at The Seaward

Lovers Cove at The Seaward was delightful place for us to relax and stay for our daughters graduation from Endicott College. Away from all the bustle of other people and right across the street from rocks and water. Lovers Cove is like a little apartment/efficiency. We had a living area bedroom bathroom and a little kitchen galley area that was perfect we were preparing simple breakfast and lunches. We enjoyed going out to dinner at the restaurants in beautiful Rockport. We enjoyed meeting the owner Nancy, who is the daughter of the original owners when my mother and father used to stay at The Seaward. we look forward to visiting again soon.

And relax!

Great stay at The Seaward. Slept like a baby on a great bed and was looked after well by the host. A really nice walk in to Rockport or wander round to Gap Cove, the beauty of the place is hard to match. Can't wait to return to The Seaward and to this corner of New England

Relaxing Getaway

The Seaward is a very relaxing, peaceful location. The accommodations were very very clean and comfortable. We had a cute front deck with rocking chairs to sit and watch the breath taking ocean views. We rode up from Boston by train so had no transportation. Nancy picked us up from the train station and gave us a tour of Rockport by car. We were given bicycles to get around the village. I can't tell you how much fun we had for the 2 nights of staying at this location. Highly recommended!

Summer get away

Accommodations at the Seaward were clean and comfortable. I would have given a 5 star except there were 6 of us and it was a little too cozy. Otherwise it was a lovely get away. So quiet and beautiful views of the ocean Great place to wind down! Close proximity to town was great, we were able to have a nice walk to it with the children. Nancy was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.

Extended Summer Stay

The accommodations at the Seaward were comfortable, clean, and the decor tastefully laid out against a lovely backdrop of a scenic ocean view right outside our window. Nancy was gracious and ready to do anything and everything to ensure our stay would be comfortable. I particularly enjoyed that fact that there were bicycles bicycles for the guests to use. I highly recommend the Seaward for a homey get away.
